Work Life Balance - Balanced Work

Employees should have the opportunity to apply an independent work style and work the hours they need to fulfil their responsibilities. The feeling of having reached the balance between work and life is highly individual. Here again, acceptance in the sense of diversity is in demand. Various elements such as variable working time models, integration of parents during parental leave or use of family services take effect.

In order to find the balance between work and free time, employees can go on sabbatical leave with the only precondition being the job tenure.

But, it doesn't have to be a complete break. There are opportunities for relaxation on the Microsoft campus as well: a cup of coffee at the Segafredo Bar or some workout in the gym - employees can take plenty of short breaks.

At Microsoft, parents - and their children - are in good hands: flexible work time and, in particular, the kindergarden round the corner tremendously support young families.

Last but not least, remote access increases the employee's flexibility. Due to external access to the company network employees are able to adjust their everyday work to their requirements.
