Ford has developed an innovative training strategy that focuses on individuals‘ needs at different levels. It includes Diversity awareness workshops and refresher courses, Dignity at Work training as well as equality and fairness at work courses. Diversity is also integrated into all routine training and therefore part of induction courses, selection and interview training, and group leader training.
Diversity is communicated extensively within the company. A European Intranet website contains a range of information, including the business case for Diversity. Councils and resource groups also have dedicated websites. Diversity is regularly featured in the company magazine, which additionally has an insert Diversity@Ford
four times a year. A dedicated employee guide on Dignity at Work was produced by Ford of Britain. In Germany, an external brochure summarises Diversity initiatives ( DE / EN ).
