Ford's holistic approach to implementing Diversity

The European Diversity Team co-ordinates all internal and external activities. It identified three main stakeholders for its culture change strategy: HR practitioners, line manager and the trade unions. The team works with the European Diversity Council, the National Diversity Councils and the Functional Diversity Councils. It maintains regular contacts with specialists of Jaguar, Landrover, Aston Martin, Volvo and Ford Financial.

Employee Resource Groups share insight and different diversity perspectives with each other and with the company. Open to all employees, the groups act as a sounding board internally and about Ford's customer base and potential markets. The list of groups includes Ford Asian Association, Women's Engineering Panel, GLOBE (Gay, Lesbian or Bisexual Employees), Turkish Resource Group or Engineers for New Generation.
